Doctor Of Chinese Medicine - Lauren Curtain
Lauren is a Doctor of Chinese Medicine and has a strong focus on helping women through issues related to women’s health, hormones, fertility and pregnancy including PMS, irregular periods, amenorrhoea, PCOS, endometriosis, natural fertility, IVF support, pregnancy support and labour preparation.
Lauren’s mission is to educate women about their bodies and to be a guide to support them through their health and fertility journey.
Lauren believes the beauty and strength of Chinese medicine is being able to understand and address the root cause of health concerns rather then just focusing on the symptoms. Focusing on the root cause of the problem not only has an impact on the presenting symptoms but also strengthens the body as a whole.
Lauren has a passion for continuously updating her education in the field of women’s health and fertility to incorporate into clinical practice through attending seminars with the latest research both in Australia and internationally.
Lauren is a registered Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal medicine practitioner. She has completed a 4 year Health Science – Chinese medicine degree from Southern School of Natural Therapies in Melbourne.
She is registered with the Chinese Medicine Registration Board and a member of AACMA (Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association).
Doctor of Chinese Medicine - Georgina Barrow
Georgina Barrow is a Doctor of Chinese Medicine and a registered Acupuncturist, Chinese Herbalist and Herbal Dispenser. Her qualification enables her to utilise a combination of Western and Chinese Medicine knowledge in her practice.
Georgina has a special interest in women's health, hormones, fertility, IVF support, pregnancy and post partum support. In addition, she enjoys combining western clinical nutrition with Chinese Medicine working in the area of digestive health. She also has experience in working with pain management, emotional issues, stress and their associated conditions such as insomnia and chronic fatigue.
Her passion for Integrated Medicine inspired her to leave her corporate career after seeing many colleagues afflicted by stress and work-induced health issues. She became interested in complementary medicine as a preventative tool to help with disease prevention and health promotion. She believes in helping to educate and empower people to make positive health changes.
Georgina continues to develop her knowledge through education and research in the areas of women’s health, fertility, western clinical nutrition, digestive health and other general health conditions.
Georgina completed a 5 year double degree in Applied Science (Human Biology/Chinese Medicine) with Distinction from RMIT University. In addition, she completed a residential clinical internship at a major hospital in Nanjing, China. She is a registered practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
Doctor of Chinese Medicine - Stephen Pate
Stephen Pate has been working as a Doctor of Chinese Medicine and registered Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine Practitioner for 10 years after graduating in 2008. He has completed a 5 year double degree of Applied Science (Human Biology/Chinese Medicine) from RMIT University and also a 6 month residential clinical internship in a major hospital in Nanjing, China.
After working abroad for 2 years he has since relocated to the Mornington Peninsula and opened Peninsula Acupuncture and Natural Medicine in 2009.
As a Chinese Medicine Practitioner he incorporates the use of Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Diet Therapy, Massage and Cupping to make sure you get the best possible outcomes for his patients in the shortest timeframe.
Stephen is passionate about health and fitness and has a special interest in pain management conditions including but not limited to; musculoskeletal pain, arthritic pain, tmj pain, headaches and migraines as well chronic pain/stubborn hard to treat pain disorders.
Doctor of Chinese Medicine - Janette Panaccio
Janette is Doctor of Chinese Medicine and a registered Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine Practitioner with the Chinese Medicine Registration Board (CMRB) and the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA).
Janette completed a five-year double degree of Applied Science (Human Biology/Chinese Medicine) at RMIT including an internship at Jiangsu Provincial TCM Hospital in Nanjing, China.
She has continued to develop and enhance her knowledge of TCM with regular participation at specialist workshops, seminars and teaching sessions, both within Australia and China, learning from leading practitioners and teachers to better apply specialised techniques to her patients.
Janette has practised at a number of private clinics in Melbourne and also at community practices providing TCM to refugee and other marginalised groups.

Doctor Of Chinese Medicine - Allana Bould
Allana is a Doctor of Chinese Medicine and is a fully registered Acupucnturist and Chinese Herbalist.
Having grown up on a mostly self-sufficient acreage on the Mornington Peninsula, Allana knew the value of a natural lifestyle from a very early age. Allana was then personally drawn towards Chinese Medicine theories during her early twenties when whilst working under a Chinese herbalist in Melbourne.
After a career spanning 12 years as a Remedial Massage Therapist, Allana decided to complete a degree in Chinese Medicine at the Southern School of Natural Medicine in Fitzroy and is excited to continue sharing her passion for Chinese Medicine.
Having been drawn to Chinese Medicine for many years now, Allana feels Chinese Medicine is essential for supporting good health at any age. Allana now aims to blend the best information from the ancient Chinese culture with current scientific evidence that applies to our modern environment and lifestyle to get the best results.
Allana has a particular interest in Mental health, Digestive disorders and Womens Health.
